The 2024/2025 Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship has been an incredible learning experience for me so far. Competing in my rookie season under Sabre Motorsport and the mentorship of Dennis Martin has been a dream come true. Every round has taught me so much, and I’m grateful for the progress we’ve made as a team.

Round 1: Manfeild

The campaign kicked off at Manfeild, where I finished P9, P9, and P8. While I knew I had a lot to learn in the new car, these results gave me a solid starting point. After this round I was sitting 8th in the championship standings and 3rd in the rookie rankings—an exciting position to build from!

Round 2: Hampton Downs

Hampton Downs was a track I’d never raced at before, so the weekend was all about adapting quickly and getting solid points on the board. I managed a 1:20.8 in qualifying and brought the car home in P11, P9, P8, and P9 over the weekend. Every lap I completed felt like a step forward, and I’m proud of how we tackled the challenge.

Round 3: Manfeild

This round at Manfeild was another big step forward for me. With finishes of P9, P9, P8, and P7, I’m getting more comfortable in the car and finding more speed every weekend. The competition is fierce, but I know we’re closing in on the front pack.

What’s Next?

The goal for Round 4 and beyond is simple: keep improving, close the gap to the leaders, and fight for even better results.

A huge thank you to everyone cheering me on—your support means everything. We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
