Racing isn't just a sport for me - it's what gets me out of bed in the morning and keeps me up late at night, training on my racing sim and studying telemetry. As a Formula First racing driver for Sabre Motorsport, I'm chasing more than just podium finishes. Every lap time, every qualifying position, every race result is a step toward my ultimate goal: becoming a professional racing driver.
Under the guidance of Dennis Martin, a multi-time Formula First National Champion, I'm proving my potential every race with multiple fastest laps and podium finishes. But what drives me the most is knowing that my journey is just beginning. The Summer Series isn't just another Formula First championship - it's my chance to show what a determined young driver from New Zealand can achieve.

MY JOURNEY BEGAN AT KARTSPORT WELLINGTON IN 2021 WHERE I WON THE JUNIOR CLUB DAY TROPHY ON MY RACING DEBUT.
By the end of 2022, I had won multiple races in karting and was honoured to receive the Kartsport Wellington 'Rookie of the Year' award in the Junior Briggs class. This was the same trophy my dad won previously in 1993! As a third generation racing driver, this meant the world to me and my family. This also led to the next step in my career.
After a test day at Manfeild, I earned my place in Formula First, racing for Sabre Motorsport. This is where I am currently competing, in the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship.
Working alongside Dennis Martin's championship-winning team is proving to be a masterclass in motorsport excellence. The Winter Series at Manfeild was my testing ground - a chance to prove myself against seasoned competitors. Through dedication and precision driving, I qualified as high as P2 and claimed five podium finishes, demonstrating consistent pace at the front of the pack.
Now, behind the wheel in the Summer Series, I'm building on that momentum. Each race weekend is an opportunity to refine my craft, learn from New Zealand's best, and push the boundaries of what's possible in Formula First racing.

I head into the 2025 Winter Formula First Series as ‘Lead Driver’ for Sabre Motorsport.

I clinched the NZ Rookie Title and finished P6 in the National Championship.

I placed P4 in the series, with multiple podiums and fastest laps.

I drove a Toyota TR86 and received driver coaching from Kaleb Ngatoa and Dan Gaunt.

I was the Club Champion in the Senior Briggs Light class.

I had my first drive in a professional racing car at Taupo Motorsport Park, on a fully wet track too!

I'm racing in the Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First Championship Summer Series, following a successful Winter Series campaign at Manfeild.
I race for Sabre Motorsport under the guidance of Dennis Martin, who is a multiple Formula First National Champion and highly respected mentor in the sport.
My preparation involves working closely with the Sabre Motorsport team, analysing telemetry data, physical training, and studying race footage to identify areas for improvement.
